Powering AI Engineers & Architects
Agentic Build Day NZ is an independent, community-driven conference for anyone building with AI — software engineers, architects, product folks, and builders from non-technical backgrounds who are putting AI to work in real ways.
The deep-technical track covers what it takes to move AI systems out of the lab and into reliable production: agents, emerging standards like MCP and Skills, orchestration, evaluation, governance, observability and tracing, security, memory and context management, and infrastructure. Alongside that, we want talks from people solving real problems with AI in less conventional ways — including those who don't write code for a living.
Whether you're shipping your first agent or scaling complex systems, this is a space to learn, share, and help shape the future of the local industry — together.
Call for speakers
Apply to give a 10- or 25-minute in-person talk, panel, or workshop in Auckland on how you and your team are building, shipping, or using agentic and AI-powered systems in the real world. We're looking for talks from builders of all backgrounds, including:

- Interesting problems solved with agentic or AI-powered approaches
